🎃 Why
For fun, of course. But also to raise awareness and funds for some of our favorite organizations that help bridge gaps in STEM by providing education, guidance and aid in making technology more accessible and building communities in it and with it.
Girls Who Code
Girls Who Code is dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology, with the goal of reaching 5 million girls, women, and nonbinary individuals by 2030. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and champion girls, women, and nonbinary people, with a special focus on historically underrepresented groups, to become changemakers in tech.

ColorCoded is a nonprofit organization committed to closing the digital divide by making technology accessible to all.
From helping seniors navigate smartphones to introducing rural youth to coding, we create opportunities where barriers once stood 📱.
Our programs include back-to-school drives, tech scholarships, and hands-on support that spark curiosity and inspire future careers in technology.
We believe brilliance knows no age, zip code, or income. Everyone deserves access to the tools and knowledge that can change their future.
🧛♀️ How
We will be taking donations via the stream throughout the fundraiser. The funds raised on stream will be donated directly to Girls Who Code, while we have a donor who will match that exact amount in a donation to ColorCoded.
The split is to a) allow us to donate as much as possible and b) a logistics issues since most fundraising platforms allow you to only target one organization.
👻 What
Games are TBD but…
Huyen likes scary games and will either rotate or put up a poll for patrons to vote on what she plays.
Niki likes scary games less and so we might make her play Goat Simulator for Science!
